Nirad was admitted to practice in 2000. Nirad's professional experience includes service with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Solicitor General’s Chambers, Messrs. Pollonais, Blanc, de la Bastide & Jacelon, National Infrastructure Development Company Ltd. (Vice-President-Legal, Corporate Secretary and President Ag.), and private practice in Chambers.
Primarily an Advocate Attorney before the Supreme Court in Civil Litigation, Nirad is also involved in Employment/Labour Law, Industrial Relations where he provides advisory services and has been practicing before the Industrial Court since 2004. Additionally, Nirad has also been heavily involved in the procurement, negotiation and management of some of the most significant national infrastructural projects as well as major local and international financing arrangements all involving major local and international firms.
Aside from Nirad's professional legal qualifications and membership he holds certificates in Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution and Computer Law.
Nirad is also the former Chairman of the Cedar Grove Co-operative Society Ltd. (35th to 37th Boards) and a former Member of, and Legal Adviser to, the Governing Council and Executive Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society.
